    The 2018 Homecoming Parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, at Eleventh and Philadelphia streets.

    From Eleventh and Philadelphia streets, the parade will travel east to Sixth and Philadelphia streets, south on Sixth Street to Church Street, west on Church Street to Oakland Avenue, and southwest on Oakland Avenue to Eleventh Street. The Homecoming parade route will continue to include the IUP Oak Grove as a spectator area. The route will continue southwest on Oakland Avenue to Eleventh Street, where the parade will disband. All motor-driven floats will continue southwest on Oakland Avenue to the Robertshaw building for disassembly.

    The parade will feature nearly 80 campus and community units. IUP’s Department of Military Science howitzer cannon, which will be located near the Indiana County Courthouse, will fire to signal the start of the parade. The 2018 parade theme is “Seasons.”

    • To participate in the IUP Homecoming Parade, you will need to fill out the Homecoming Parade Unit Submission Form. Please provide all of the information, and you should receive a confirmation once you submit the form. Unless otherwise notified, you will automatically be eligible to participate and will receive correspondence in the weeks leading up to the parade.
    • If you want to apply to be a member of the 2018 Homecoming Crimson Court, the application will be available in the fall.
