The first step in finding articles on your topic is to search the library's on-line databases. These databases cover a range of topics and contain thousands of articles. One starting place is WorldCata worldwide union catalog that contains the catalog information from more than 9,000 member libraries. Another useful database to search is JSTORan archived collection of nearly 500 journals in many different fields. JSTOR contains only the archived volumes of each journal and does not have the most recent (two to five years) volumes. Another location to visit is the IUP E-Journals.
