Sarah Brown, associate professor in the Department of Human Development, Fashion, and Interior Design, was recognized at the College of Health and Human Services' thirty-first annual awardsrecognition ceremony, held virtuallyon May 5, 2021.

During her tenure at IUP, Brown has established a high level of service that exemplifies commitment to supporting IUP, the local community, and her professional organizations.
Beyond service to her department and college,Brown has served in a variety of other roles, including the University-Wide Tenure Committee, the Student Conduct Board, University Senate, and as a Safe Zone training member. Her involvement in the local community includes helping several organizations, including IndiKids Board of Directors and the Indiana Area School District. Lastly, Brown is a faculty advisor for three separate student groups in her department.
