    The College of Health and Human Services serves the public interest by providing a quality education to prepare students for applied professional disciplines. Graduates will affirm high personal and professional standards, provide leadership, and be committed to creating and advancing knowledge in their disciplines.

    Vision

    The IUP College of Health and Human Services will offer a premier education that prepares professionals to provide services in a global environment in a competent and compassionate manner. This will be accomplished through diverse undergraduate and graduate programs in existing and emerging fields and through research, service, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

    • Provide the facilities, equipment, and technology to ensure academic excellence
    • Expansion of branch campuses
    • Support of program level accreditation
    • Engage in a university data-driven process for measuring student learning outcomes and assessing overall program outcomes
    • Expand non-degree/non-credit offerings
    • Improve the quality of internships (High Impact Practice) and strengthen their assessment component
    • Hire and retain a diverse faculty and staff in programs of need
