The Burchfield Scholarship - for Social Studies Education/Geography majors
- The scholarship is competitive, based on high school academic record
- The student's home residence must be in Indiana or Fayette county
- The student must major in Social Studies Education/Geography emphasis at IUP
- The student must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive the scholarship
- Students have received between $1,500 and $3,000 per year over the last several years
- Students can receive funding for up to four years
The Dan and Diane Griffith Scholarship - for Students Pursuing a Combination of Geography and Mathematics
- The scholarship is competitive, based on high school academic record
- The student must major in some combination of geography and mathematics (for example a Geography major and Math minor; a Math major and Geography minor; or a double major in Geography and Math)
- The student must remain in good academic standing to continue to receive the scholarship
- Students have received $600 per year since the scholarship initiated
- Students can receive funding for up to four years
- Four students will be funded simultaneously (freshman through senior)
