The Department of Foreign Languages participates in a semester- or year-long study abroad exchange program with the Universidad de las Americas in Puebla, Mexico.
While not a faculty-led program, students do work with a departmental faculty advisor to arrange their classes and living arrangements prior to going on the program. Students take a variety of classes depending on his or her level of language proficiency, and can usually transfer credits back to IUP to be used for Spanish major and minor requirements.
