Christina Huhn (Department of Foreign Languages) copresented the results of a collaborative research project, titled "Current Trends in Post-secondary Language Classrooms," with Krista Chambless (UAB), and Teresa Bell (BYU) at the annual Convention of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.

This research presented the results of a nationwide survey and revealed the current teaching practices of post-secondary teachers. The survey specifically looked at the national foreign language standards and core practices in post-secondary world language education.

Huhn also serves on the audit/review team for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, served as a copresenter on a presentation for reviewers, and cohosted a second session on current issues in ACTFL/CAEP Teacher Preparation.
