Trinity Miller, a criminology major and ROTC cadet who studied the Chinese language through the IUP Department of Foreign Languages during her freshman year 2019-20, has received admission with full scholarship from Project Global Officer (Project GO).

Project Go is a US Department of Defense initiative aimed at "improving the language skills, regional expertise, and intercultural communication skills of future military officers."

The program originally planned to take participants to study in Taiwan for seven weeks, from June 1 to July 17, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the program has been converted to an online format.

The program is sponsored by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office and administered by the Institute of International Education. More information about the program is available at Project GO.
