Designed in an Art Deco style by the architectural firm of Sloan and Robertson and constructed under the General State Authority, Fisher Auditorium was dedicated in 1939.
The first class to hold commencement ceremonies there was the Class of 1940. Fisher Auditorium is located on the corner of Oakland Avenue and South Eleventh Street on the IUP campus.
