    Every year, Alure Home Improvements offers a scholarship to a promising undergraduate student in financial need. Undergraduate freshman students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA are welcome to apply.

    American Home Design Scholarship Contest

    American Home Design is proud to be the home renovation leader in the Tennessee area. After being committed to provided families with quality home improvement products and establishing strong relationships with those families, American Home Design wants to give back to their community. They are going to offer a scholarship to a U.S. undergraduate student who is working towards a degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field.

    Anthony Castelli Attorney's Veteran's College Scholarship

    In order to honor Anthony's father, Lt. Jr. Grade Joseph A. Castelli, a World War II Navy hero, Anthony Castelli is awarded a scholarship to veteran's. This is an annual scholarship awarded to a current military veteran or honorably discharged veteran or parent, sibling, child, or grandchild of a current or honorably discharged veteran.

    AT&T STEM Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    AT&T is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university who are pursuing a degree in a STEM related major with the intention of working in the Computer Technology, Advanced Manufacturing or Energy Related Industries and have earned at least 60 college credits with a 3.0 GPA or better at the time of the receipt of the scholarship. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need based on the need analysis from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).     Barbara Greenlee’s “I Believe in You Scholarship”

    Barbara Greenlee is offering a $2,500 scholarship for incoming freshmen at State System Universities who have graduated from The Nativity School and Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA. Applicants must demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA and must have a GPA of 2.5 or equivalent grade percentage. Deadline for submission: May 18, 2018.     BrickHouse Security has come to understand and appreciate the service of law enforcement and how the personal sacrifice of men and women in uniform affects their entire family.     Preliminary applications are now being accepted for the Bud Lutty Scholarship Competition for the fall 2019 through spring 2020 school year.     CompareCards wants to test students’ knowledge in pop culture and math skills. CompareCards wants to give students the chance to award a $2,500 scholarship to a student who can answer tough trivia questions.

    Custody X Change Scholarship

    The Custody X Change Scholarship program awards three scholarships to single parents each year. If you're a parent that has primary physical custody of one or more minor children, and your student is enrolled full-time at an accredited college and has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you can apply for this scholarship.

    Dr. Lou Bohl-Fabian Memorial Fund

    The Dr. Lou Bohl-Fabian Memorial Fund is offering special funding such as grants or stipends to graduate students at State System universities who are involved in studies focused on research, the environment/outdoors, political science or the arts are eligible to apply. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and must provide an official transcript. Deadline for submission: 60 days prior to the date the funding is needed.     Evergreen Garden Club of Indiana County

    The Evergreen Garden Club of Indiana County is offering $1,000 scholarship to students of Indiana County schools. The scholarship is open to any 2018 graduating senior who is a resident of Indiana County or any student who is a legal resident of Indiana County currently attending a college or university and has a GPA of 3.25 or higher.     ExtremeTerrain Student Scholarship Program

    ExtremeTerrain is comprised of Jeep Wrangler enthusiasts who value the Jeep culture as well as the preservation of public lands. By investing in students and communities that share our sentiments on land preservation, ExtremeTerrain is investing in the future of not just Jeep culture, but also the future of our sacred public lands. Two $3,000 scholarships are being offered, one for the fall semester and one for the spring semester. Students who are pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Research, Land Use, Earth and Atmosphere Studies, Sustainable Land Management, Parks and Recreation, Sustainable Agriculture Systems are eligible to apply.

    Fitz Dixon Memorial Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Fitz Dixon Memorial Scholarship honors the late F. Eugene “Fitz” Dixon, Jr, who was a respected leader, sportsman, and a founding member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education Board of Governors. Applicants for the scholarship must demonstrate academic excellence, voluntary service within the community at home and at their university, and financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Undergraduate student applicants must have passed 45 credits at a State System university with at least a 3.0 GPA. Graduate student applicants must have passed at least 9 credits at a State System university with at least a 3.5 GPA. Applicants must also include official transcripts.     Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships

    Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowships are designed to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.

    Future Counselors of America Scholarship

    Annual scholarship awards $1,000 to U.S. undergraduates and graduates majoring in Psychology who seek a career in relationship counseling or a related field. Applicants will be judged based on academic achievement (minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA) and a minimum 500- to maximum 900-word essay entitled "The Psychology of Online Dating." The essay should address the psychological issues and challenges facing singles given the growing popularity of online dating, and how relationship professionals can help online daters navigate these challenges.     G.H. Miller and Jean Wolford McKevley Scholarship

    1st Summit Bank is offering a scholarship to students in their area. Full-time students who are high school graduates of and reside in Cambria, Somerset, Indiana, Blair, or Westmoreland County are welcome to apply.

    George F. Wheeling Scholarship

    The George F. Wheeling Scholarship is offered to senior high school students with an above average academic record who plan to attend a accredited four-year institution in the fall. The scholarship is also available to collegiate freshmen, sophomore and junior students attending an accredited four-year institution.

    The Healthcare Leaders Scholarship is offered to qualified applicants who are entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine.     Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Hospitality Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    HE&R is providing a $1,000 scholarship for fall semester tuition and fees to a student attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university and is pursuing a degree in hospitality, marketing, human resources, information technology or criminal justice. Applicants must have at least 60 college credits with a 3.0 GPA or better at the time of the receipt of the scholarship. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need based on the need analysis from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).     Highmark Healthcare Scholarship for Rising Juniors (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Highmark Healthcare Scholarship for Rising Juniors is funded by Highmark to help address the growing need for trained healthcare professionals to meet the demands of the Commonwealth and beyond. Applicants must be residents of Pennsylvania and pursuing a degree in the healthcare profession, such as: nursing, pre-physician assistant, pre-medicine, biology, health science, audiology, speech pathology, medical imagery, health science, and physical therapy. Applicants must also be a rising junior for the fall 2018 semester who has earned 60 credits with a GPA of 3.0 or greater and must demonstrate need as determined by the FAFSA.     Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF)

    The Hispanic Scholarship Fund offers various scholarship programs for Hispanic American undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full time in degree-seeking programs. During its thirty-two-year history, HSF has awarded more than 82,000 scholarships in excess of $221 million to Latino students. Scholarship awards generally range from $1,000 to $3,000.

    HubShout Internet Marketing Scholarship

    Students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and are working toward a career in online marketing are invited to apply for the HubShout Scholarship. A scholarship will be awarded to two students ($1,000 each) who have at least a 3.0 GPA and can best demonstrate a passion for online marketing.

    Indiana Garden Club Scholarship

    The Indiana Garden Club is offering $500 minimum scholarships to residents of Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Applicant must be majoring in ecology, horticulture, landscape design, landscape architecture, conservation, botany, forestry, agriculture or earth sciences, agriculture, arboriculture, food science, forest ecosystems, plant pathology, plant sciences, or agroecology. Deadline for submission: July 15.

    James "Rhio" O'Connor Memorial Scholarship Fund

    Students are welcome to apply for this scholarship honoring James "Rhio" O’Connor, a man who fought cancer. His path led to his creation of treatment protocols which consisted of vitamins, minerals, vegetables, fruits, and other minerals. Deadline: Monthly

    John Family Health Careers Scholarship

    The John Family Health Careers Scholarship at Evangelical Community Hospital provides 4 annual awards of $5,000 to students entering college for the purpose of pursuing a career as a respiratory therapist, medical technologist, medical imaging technologist, clinical laboratory scientist, or cytotechnologist. Applicants must have a diploma or equivalent from high schools in Union, Snyder, or Northumberland counties, Pennsylvania. Deadline for submission: April 1 annually

    Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association Scholarship

    The Joseph A. Holmes Safety Association endeavors to promote health and safety within the mining industry. This scholarship shall be open to persons currently employed or who are pursuing careers in the mining industry, safety, and health fields. High school graduates, undergraduates, and graduate students currently enrolled in a college or university are all eligible to apply.

    JPMorgan Chase/UNCF Corporate Scholars Programs

    The JPMorgan Chase/UNCF Corporate Scholars Program has been established to increase minority student interest in JPMorgan Chase and expand the company’s pool of minority employees. Scholars participate in eight- to ten-week paid internships and receive financial need-based scholarships up to $10,000. Eligible students are sophomore and junior students seeking a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, computer information systems, economics, engineering, finance, marketing, mathematics, operations management, or software engineering and must have a minimum GPA of 3.2.     Katherine Mabis McKenna Scholarship

    The Greensburg Garden Center is offering a $2,000 scholarships to residents of Westmoreland and surrounding counties. Applicants must have completed one year in an accredited college or university pursing a two- or four-year degree in botany, horticulture, forestry, landscape architecture, or related fields.     The mission of Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania, Inc. is to provide scholarship grants for college and vocational education to children who demonstrate financial need due to a parent's work-related injury or fatality.

    M&T Bank Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    M&T Bank has established a $1,000 scholarship for incoming freshman who reside in Cumberland, Dauphin or Franklin counties, will attend a PASSHE university, and are in strong need of financial assistance. Incoming freshmen applicants must be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class, and upperclassmen must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Deadline for submission: June 9, 2018.     McKee Scholars

    The Estate of John McKee, through the McKee Scholarship Committee, offers scholarships for college or vocational training to high school seniors or graduates (not over age 19 years at the time of the application) who meet all of the following criteria: (a) fatherless boys (i.e., whose biological or lost adoptive father is actually dead or has been declared missing by a competent authority) of any race; "missing" may also include permanently absent, dysfunctional, and not functioning as a father to the applicant; (b) in need of financial assistance; and (c) native to the five-county Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia).     Momentum, Inc. Healthcare Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    Momentum, Inc. is providing a $1,000 scholarship for the fall semester to a student who is attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university who is majoring in healthcare-related field, including biology and healthcare informatics, and has a 3.0 GPA or better at the time of the receipt of the scholarship.     PA State System Board of Governors Chair, Guido M. Pichini, Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The PA State System Board of Governors Chiar, Guido M. Pichini Endowed Scholarship fund is being offered to applicants who are full-time students in one of the 14 State System universities.     PinnacleHealth Health Care Industry Scholarship for Rising Juniors and Seniors

    PinnacleHealth is offering a $1,000 scholarship for any full-time junior or senior attending a State System university. Applicants must have graduated from a high school located within 20 miles of Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital and must be pursuing a degree in a field that benefits the health care industry including: allied health, nursing, health science, biology, pre-medicine, pre-physician assistant, marketing, information technology or human resources. Eligible applicants must have earned 60 credits or more with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA. Deadline for submission: June 9, 2018.     PNC Education Loan Center Achiever Scholarships

    The PNC Education Loan Center launched this scholarship program in 2015 to further support students by giving them a chance to win $2,000 to spend on their educational expenses. There is no cost to enter, but students must be registered for a Financial Literacy Account, managed by Decision Partners.

    PPL Community Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The PPL Community Scholarship Award program will serve student residents of PPL’s 29 county service area. The goal of the PPL Community Scholarship Program is to provide bridge/emergency financial aid to needy students from PPL’s service area. Applicants must have earned 60 or more credits with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible applicants must also reside in one of the following PA counties: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Clinton, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Lackawanns, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montgomery, Montour, Northampton, Northumberland, Perry, Pike, Schuylkill, Snyder, Susquehanna, Union, Wayne, Wyoming and York.     PSECU Credit Union Industry Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) is providing a $1,000 scholarship for the fall semester to students who are attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university and are majoring in Finance, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology or Criminal Justice. This is a one-time scholarship available to full-time rising juniors or seniors who have completed 60 or more credits with a 3.0 GPA or better at the time application and are residents of Pennsylvania.     PSECU International Education Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union (PSECU) is providing ten $2,000 scholarships to students who are attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at a PASSHE university and be a Pennsylvania resident. This scholarship is available to students who are participating in an institutionally approved overseas program who are in good academic standing. Deadline for submission: July 7, 2018.     Quido and Anna Pichini Merit Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Quido and Anna Pichini Merit scholarship was founded by Guido and Susan Pichini in memory of Mr. Pichini’s parents. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.5 or better and must participate in voluntary service at his/her university, high school, or community. Deadline for submission: June 16, 2018.     Quota Gold Scholarship

    Quota International of Indiana, Pa. Inc. is offering a $500 minimum scholarship. The award is designed to offer financial support to a non-traditional female student who has gained acceptance to a program to further her education in order to accomplish her professional and career goals. The scholarship is to be used for educational and/or professional development. Eligible applicants must complete an application by April 6, 2018.     Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation — Wildlife Leadership Awards

    The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Wildlife Leadership Awards Program was established to recognize, encourage, and promote leadership among future wildlife management professionals. Each year, the Elk foundation awards up to ten $2,000 scholarships to outstanding college juniors and seniors studying in a wildlife-related natural resource program.

    Stephen and Sandy Sheller are offering a $1,000 scholarship for students at Pennsylvania State System Universities who are pursuing degrees leading to careers in law, social services or art therapy. Eligible applicants must have passed 60 credits with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Applicants must demonstrate financial need based on the information provided on the FAFSA.     Supporting Student Success: A Scholarship to Improve Persistence and Degree Completion

    A scholarship to Improve Persistence and Degree Completion is awarded to full-time student attending a State System university who are pursuing an undergraduate degree.     Suzanne M. Lynch Memorial Scholarship

    The Suzanne M. Lynch memorial scholarship was created to assist interior design majors who are completing their junior year at one of the following colleges: IUP, LaRoche College, Mercyhurst College, Carlow College, or the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and demonstrate financial need. Deadline for submission: March 31 annually

    The Keystone Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society Scholarship

    The Keystone Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society is offering two $500 scholarships to college undergraduate students in the fields of agriculture, environmental studies, soils, or natural resources, who are currently attending college in Pennsylvania.     The Pittsburgh Foundation is the seventeenth largest community foundation in the country.     The Stephen and Sandy Sheller Scholarship for Women of Tomorrow (WOT) in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Stephen and Sandy Sheller Scholarship for Women of Tomorrow (WOT) is funded to provide tuition funding for high school graduates of the WOT in Philadelphia program. Applicants must be a graduate of the WOT in Philadelphia program and be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a 3.0 GPA. Deadline for submission: May 19, 2018.     University Tutor

    University Tutor helps students find the right tutor to achieve academic results. The program will conduct a scholarship essay contest by posting a monthly essay prompt located at the UniversityTutor Website. To enter, eligible participants must log on to the Website and submit a 300 word essay in response to the monthly prompt. Winners of the contest will be awarded up to $100.

    WalMart Foundation Scholarships

    WalMart sponsors various scholarship programs. Eligible students may or may not be an employee of Wal-Mart and must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5. Other requirement may need to be met depending on the scholarship to which you are applying. Deadline for submission: various dates

    Wells Fargo Endowed Scholarship for Academic Excellence (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The Wells Fargo Endowed scholarship for academic excellence provides financial assistance to incoming freshmen at State System universities who have achieved academic excellence in high school. Applicants must reside in one of the following counties: Allegheny, Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike and York. Eligible applicants must have been in the top 25% of their graduating class in high school with a GPA of 3.2 or better. Students must also demonstrate financial need based on the FAFSA.     William D. Greenlee Scholarship (Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education)

    The William D. Greenlee Scholarship is a $2,500 scholarship for a student attending a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university who is majoring in Political Science, Journalism or Communications, and has earned at least 60 college credits with a 3.0 GPA or better at the time of the receipt of the scholarship. Applicants must reside in one of the following Pennsylvania counties: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, Northumberland, Perry or York. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need based on the need analysis from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is a one-time scholarship available to a full-time junior or senior who is a resident of Pennsylvania. Deadline for submission: May 19, 2018.     Zaida Weaver Scholarship

    The Junior Women's Civic Club is offering a $1,000.00 scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to a female Indiana County resident, 21 years of age or older, who is beginning a course of study or returning to school to complete an interrupted education. It may be used at any institution of higher learning, but not towards a graduate program. Eligible applicants must complete an application by April 20, 2018.
