The WEDnetPA Job Training Program reimburses qualified companies for training employees in a wide range of essential and high-tech topics. IUP is a participating WEDnetPA partner.
About the Program
WEDnetPA helps employers train their employees. The two types of eligible grants are for Essential Skills (formerly Basic Skills) training and Advanced Technology (formerly Information Technology) training.
Manufacturers, primary hospitals, and technology businesses are eligible for Essential Skills training grants up to $450 per eligible employee.
Manufacturers and others are eligible for Advanced Technology Skills training grants including computer programming, network administration, and advanced machine operations training up to $850 per eligible employee.
To obtain job training funding through WEDnetPA your company must meet certain qualifications.
