In April 2019, following months of popular protests, a coup overthrew Omar Bashir, ending his thirty years in power. In the years since this change, tension between the power of the people and the power of the military has continued. This presentation will explore the changes that have occurred in this period of time, looking at the goals of the protesters and the military, and the changes that Sudan has experienced.
