This workshop will focus on the beauty of being Black and showcase how people of color have stepped outside the societal box and achieved greatness with risk. Dr. Armani Davis will discuss Black inventors and scientists and how some of their patents have inspired or set the foundation for things we use today. The overall goal is to encourage self-love, cover a short history of people of color, and make sure that students know they belong at IUP and are more than capable of completing their goals.
