"The ELR program at IUP was essential in my career development. Upon completion of the program, I progressed to the level of manager-Labor Relations and Medical Services at my current company. I frequently get phone calls from recruiters that are interested in my background. While the program helped me professionally, it also helped in other ways. I serve on the city council in the municipality where I live and various boards throughout the county. The tools learned in this program are both specific and broad-based and can be used in all aspects of developing relationships, understanding the dynamics of human relations and how to effectively manage, coach, and develop coworkers and subordinates. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in further enhancing their human resource skills. The staff is well-versed, knowledgeable, and skilled and made the learning experience for me both interesting and fun."
