37th Annual Labor Management Conference

    The 37th annual Labor-Management Conference, hosted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Employment and Labor Relations, will take place on Friday, April 6, 2018. This conference has a distinguished history of providing in-the-moment updates related to employment issues in both private sector and public sector workplaces.

    Conference sessions in 2018 will focus on the current US opioid drug crisis and employees’ use of legal drugs in the workplace; on 2017 wage/hour compliance issues and investigations from the US Department of Labor; and on the challenge for exclusive representation to exist in 21st-century workplaces.

    In addition to the expert presenters and panelists, each session will include question-and-answer opportunities with the speakers.

    Fees Include:

    • $100 for individuals
    • $80 for all ELR/ILR alumni, SHRM members, and LERA members
    • $30 for current graduate students at IUP

    • $65 for two sessions with lunch
    • $30 for one session (no lunch included)
