Wonder how we’re doing with recruitment and retention of a diverse faculty after recent retirement incentive programs and a number of years of reduced and/or deferred tenure-track hiring? Ever wonder the rates of application and acceptance of students of color? Their persistence and graduation rates compared to majority students? An overview of this and related data will be presented by way of introduction to the IUP Equity and Excellence Team and the workgroup examining faculty diversity. Both groups are using institutional data to develop recommendations closing racial/ethnic and gender equity gaps at IUP. Hear their reports and join the conversation.
