Racchini Publishes on Embedded Tutoring Model
Developmental Studies faculty member Amber Racchini recently published “Embedded Tutoring: One Initiative to Help Struggling Students” in the journal Currents in Teaching and Learning.
Through its curriculum, programs, academic support, and advising, the Department of Undergraduate Studies and Student Success provides courses and services specifically designed to enhance the development and success of all students.
Academic Support
Creating College Success is an early entrance experience for first-year students, scheduled during the week before the fall semester.
Supplemental Instruction provides small-group study and review sessions for sections of courses with difficult content or high levels of failure and withdrawal rates.
The Tutoring Center located in B02 Stabley Library holds in-person tutoring sessions for a variety of subjects.
