Whether your goal is to counsel in a school setting, work in community mental health or private practice, or train and supervise future counselors, the Counselor Education programs at IUP blend academic coursework, personal development, and the practical application of counseling skills to build the foundation necessary for a successful, rewarding career. Our flexible program design allows master's students in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling to attend school full- or part-time. In contrast, Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral students move full-time through their training with a cohort of their peers. All three of our programs are offered in full at both the Indiana campus and at IUP Pittsburgh East in the Pittsburgh/Monroeville area.
