Center for Creativity and Change

  • Professional development workshops started in the Department of Counseling in 2002. In 2005, the Department of Counseling created the Center for Counselor Training and Services, and, in 2015, the name was changed to the Center for Creativity and Change

    Please note that, effective October 14, 2019, the IUP Center for Creativity and Change will no longer be an Approved Continuing Education Provider with NBCC. The Center will no longer be authorized to offer or grant NBCC continuing education credit.

    Since 2002, over 2,000 individuals have participated in Center workshops. Over that period, 35 workshops, featuring nationally and internationally known leaders in the counseling profession, have been offered by the Center.

    Mission Statement and Goals
    The mission of the Center for Creativity and Change is to advance and enhance the creative thinking and problem-solving abilities of IUP community members, IUP alumni, and school/mental health professionals throughout the region via professional development, counseling-related workshops, and other innovative measures.
