Professional development workshops started in the Department of Counseling in 2002. In 2005, the Department of Counseling created the Center for Counselor
Training and Services, and, in 2015, the name was changed to the Center for Creativity and Change.
Since 2002, over 1,800 individuals have participated in Center workshops. Over that period, 32 workshops, featuring nationally and internationally known leaders in the counseling profession, have been offered by the Center.
The center’s director is John McCarthy (firstname.lastname@example.org).
