Martin Pardee graduated from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo with a B.S. in Engineering Science and Aerospace Engineering (1982). After working for the U.S. Army as a projectile designer (1982–1984), he made a transition into real-time programming for navigation, communication, and weapon control systems of U.S. Navy fighter aircraft (1984–1986).
Following this, he spent 10 years with AT&T Bell Laboratories involved in communications research (1987–1999). This work led to a position at Bear Stearns and Co. (a former Wall Street investment bank, now part of J.P. Morgan Chase), unemployment when the stock market collapsed in 2008, work at various small financial houses (2008–2009), a metadata modeling job at Chubb & Sons Insurance (2009–2010), Comet systems at Verizon Wireless (2010–2011), and SAFE: Secure Authentication For Everyone at AT&T Laboratories (2011–2012).
He currently works as the head of technology in Citigroup’s Buffalo office.
