PROMOTING GRADUATE RESEARCH The Graduate Scholars Forum offers students in master’s and doctoral programs at IUP an opportunity to showcase their research.
Chemistry graduate students can engage in activities outside of the classroom, enhancing their academic and professional goals.
The American Chemical Society encourages volunteer work within the community, and offers weekly meetings and free tutoring opportunities.
Alpha Chi Sigma welcomes all students from science-related majors and faculty. Membership includes weekly meetings that encourage cooperation and friendship.
The American Medical Student Association provides monthly meetings where students make presentations about their internship experiences. Guest speakers also enhance the meetings.
A cooperative Family Medicine Physician Education Program has been established by IUP and Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia for the purpose of improving the distribution of physicians in Pennsylvania.
The Graduate Scholars Forum is designed to foster scholarship and collegiality among graduate students and faculty, and to provide a forum for graduate students to discuss their academic work with a community of scholars.
This is a nomination-based award to recognize outstanding academic achievement.
