Bala Ramjee of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, will have a Zoom recruiting presentation for graduate school at 11:30 to 12:30 on Thursday, November 4. Students can attend either by coming to Weyandt 127 or on their computers, using the Zoom link.

Old Dominion University is a public research institution and is home to more than 24,000 students, including about 5,000 graduate students. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at ODU has 27 full-time faculty members, including 15 with active research groups, 40 graduate students, and several undergraduate researchers. The department recently moved into a new $76-million, state-of-the-art building and acquired several new instruments, such as a 600 MHz NMR and a scanning electron microscope.

This presentation will give an introduction to the exciting research opportunities and the facilities in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at ODU.
