Joining ΑΧΣ is an excellent way to advance yourself vocationally, academically, and personally. It means being a part of something bigger than yourself, finding friends you never would’ve expected to meet, and having people you know you can count on—not only for clarifying a subject in class, but also for being there when you need someone to talk to, hang out with, commiserate with, and celebrate with.
In addition, ΑΧΣ provides members unique opportunities to volunteer in the scientific community, such as performing chemistry magic shows at local schools and helping out at the Southwestern Pennsylvania Science Bowl.
ΑΧΣ is open to all science-related majors who have completed at least one chemistry course and have a GPA 2.0 or greater.
