Principal

Stephanie Perry is a principal at Harkness Capital Partners, a New York-based middle market private equities firm focused on the services and niche manufacturing sectors. Perry is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including investment origination, transaction structuring, and portfolio company oversight of Harkness Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Harkness Capital Partners, Perry spent 14 years at Deutsche Bank Securities in New York as an investment banker. She was managing director at Deutsche Bank Securities where she was head of Middle Market Sponsor Leveraged Finance, head of Financial Services Leveraged Finance, and co-head of Media Leveraged Finance.

Over her career, Perry has worked on over 100 leveraged financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and acquisitions across all major industry sectors. She began her investment banking career in the Financial Sponsors Group at BT Alex Brown, acquired by Deutsche Bank.

Previously, Perry was a senior manager in the Merger and Acquisition Services Group of Deloitte & Touche LLP in New York, where she structured and executed merger and acquisition transaction services for leveraged buyout firms. She started her career in the Accounting and Auditing Services Group in the Pittsburgh office, and then moved to New York in conjunction with being selected to participate in the firm's National Management Development Program.

Perry received a BS in Business Administration from IUP in 1988 and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. Perry is a certified public accountant.
