David J. Williams, a 1979 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), now serves as the executive vice president of PNC Bank, National Association and senior vice president and director of Mergers and Acquisitions of the PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. Williams is responsible for the analysis and negotiation of all business acquisition and divestiture opportunities for PNC. He has participated in more than 50 business acquisitions. Williams has also participated in more than 35 business divestitures at PNC. For 16 years, Williams has been the manager in charge of the Mergers and Acquisitions department at PNC. The volume of acquisitions has been a key driver in PNC's growth into one of the largest diversified financial services organizations in the United States.

Williams is also responsible for PNC's annual strategic planning process, including the presentation to the board of directors and the annual resolution planning submissions for PNC and PNC Bank to the Federal Reserve and FDIC.

Williams joined PNC in 1989 as manager of International Accounting. He was promoted to senior vice president in November of 2005 and in 2010 he was named executive vice president of PNC Bank, National Association. Prior to joining PNC, Williams worked for more than nine years in the audit department at Price Waterhouse at the locations of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and London, England.

Williams graduated from IUP in 1979 with a degree in business administration and a concentration in accounting. Williams previously served two terms as a board member for the Foundation for IUP and its investment committee. He also participated on the committee to replace university housing on campus.
