Mr. Wall has dedicated his professional career to solving problems for clientsindividuals, families, and businesses. Mr. Wall earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance in 1970 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He later received the Family Business Specialist designation, one of only 250 nationally. Brien has been named to Mass Mutual Life Insurance President's Club, Leader's Club, and the Million Dollar Round Table. His most prestigious recognition occurred when he was named to the Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company Master's Club for being one of only ten agents named to the Master's Club out of 4,000 nationally. He currently presides on both the Oppenheimer Funds Executive Council and the Federated Investors President's Council.

Mr. Wall was instrumental in founding IUP's Center for Family Business. He has a strong commitment to the preservation of the family business as the basic element of the American free enterprise system. This helped shape the underlying mission of IUP's Center for Family Business. Mr. Wall's leadership has enhanced the center's reputation greatly. Brien is also a member of the Eberly College of Business advisory council.

Mr. Wall served in the U.S. Army (1970 to 1972). He was a military policeman on assignment at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.

Brien has been an active community leader. He has served as the finance chairman for Allegheny Health Choices and as board member for the St. Francis Health Foundation and is a member of the Three Rivers Labor Management Committee. He was awarded the "Courage to Come Back Award" by the St. Francis Health Foundation.

Brien is married to the former Patricia Kubinec, a 1972 Edinboro University graduate who retired after thirty-five years of service as a special education teacher. The Walls have two sons, one daughter, and two grandchildren.
