George is a partner with Evans & Mack, a Certified Public Accounting firm located in Indiana, Pa. George presently serves on the board of trustees of Indiana First Bank, where he is chairman; on the executive board of the Indiana County United Way; as a member of the Indiana Healthcare Corporation; as an elder of Graystone Presbyterian Church; as a member of Financial Executives International; as a member of the advisory council of IUP's Eberly College of Business and Information Technology; and on the Indiana County Strategic Planning Commission.He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
George most recently served as a trustee of the Graystone Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund. He served as the vice president and treasurer of Rochester & Pittsburgh Coal Company, having been with R&P in senior financial positions since 1976 until its sale in 1998. Prior to joining R&P, he was an audit manager with Arthur Andersen & Co.
A graduate of Waynesburg College, he has been a certified public accountant in Pennsylvania since 1973. He and his wife, Karen, have four adult children.
