Mr. Moore is the director of Public Markets at the South Carolina Retirement Systems' Investment Commission (SCRSIC). Previously, he was senior investment officer, where he managed the $8.4-billion Global Public Equity portfolio and served on a team overseeing a $4.3-billion private equity and opportunistic credit portfolio. Prior to joining SCRSIC in 2012, Mr. Moore served as senior investment analyst with the Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System in the Alternative Investments and Diversifying Assets programs, representing collectively $8.5 billion in net asset value.
Mr. Moore graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Moore was also the recipient of the 2013 South Carolina Junior Chamber Outstanding Young American award. Mr. Moore is a chartered financial analyst charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of South Carolina and the CFA Institute. He lives in Columbia, South Carolina, with his wife, Katie.
