    S&T Wealth Management

On October 19, 1987, Dave Finui was a young stock broker with Legg Mason, a major investment firm headquartered in Baltimore, Md. On that, day the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 508 points or 23 percent—the single largest one-day drop ever that put an end, at least temporarily, to one of the greatest bull markets in history. It was a defining day that forever changed how Mr. Finui would advise clients to achieve financial security. Having learned from both the successes and the adversities that can be encountered in the investment world, he now uses those experiences and lessons to develop a comprehensive and achievable financial plan for his clients at S&T Wealth Management.

Dave Finui has experienced seven "bull" and seven "bear" markets so far in his career. Having seen first-hand the best and the worst that the financial markets have to offer, he also understand the fears and anxieties that those he works with feel. Developing a long term plan and sticking to it to ride out those ups and downs is what Mr. Finui and the entire S&T Wealth Management team bring to every relationship they develop.

Mr. Finui began working in the financial services industry at age 15 in the operations center of a small community bank. He has now been employed at S&T Wealth Management for 15 years. He has experience in all facets of financial services—trusts, investment brokerage, retail banking, and lending.

Mr. Finui earned his bachelor of science in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and his MBA from IUP, with a concentration in finance and investments. He has studied at the University of Colorado Boulder Graduate School of Banking and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Trust School at Bucknell University.

Mr. Finui is on the board of directors of the Fiduciary Education Foundation, is a member of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Association of America, and is on the foundation board of Excela Health in Greensburg, Pa. He is a supporting member of Laurel Arts in Somerset, Pa. and a past president of the Somerset Rotary Club, the Somerset Exchange Club, and the Indian Lake Golf Club. Mr. Finui was a member of Professional Ski Instructors of America for seven years and helicopter skied in British Columbia. In his spare time he enjoys snow skiing, golfing, and water skiing.
