Richard Lansberry serves as an
Associate National Bank Examiner (ANBE) for the Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). The OCC is a regulatory agency under
the U.S. Treasury Department with the mission of ensuring
the safety and soundness of the national banking system. As an ANBE, Lansberry leads and assists bank examinations that review risk management
systems at financial institutions. He also serves as a campus
recruiter for the OCC, which enabled a new campus
relationship with IUP in 2015. Prior to joining the OCC in 2013, he gained credit experience with a national mortgage lender as a
residential mortgage underwriter.
Lansberry graduated summa
cum laude from IUP in 2009. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance
with an Economics minor. He resides in the Pittsburgh area. In
his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing,
boating, and golf.
