Megan A. White has been in the banking industry in western Pennsylvania for
approximately 25 years, where she currently is a VP/Small Business Solutions
leader at First Commonwealth Bank, Indiana, Pa. She works with a team that mentors, partners, and sets strategy with the
retail banking group in how small businesses are serviced in the bank’s
footprint.
Megan graduated from IUP with a BA in Journalism and German in December
1990 as a summa cum laude graduate. Her
other degrees consist of a retail banking degree from the Central Atlantic
Advanced School of Banking, Bucknell University, and an executive banking degree from the
University of Virginia.
Volunteer work includes the 2015 Indiana County United Way Campaign
co-chair, where the campaign exceeded its goal and raised over $737,000 for the
local community. Megan currently is the
board president of Downtown Indiana, Inc. and the chairperson of the business
improvement district, where she works with community leaders, DI board members,
and the local government that focuses on economic development within the local
downtown. She also fund-raises for the
American Heart Association both in Indiana and Westmoreland counties.
Megan received the Indiana County Athena Award in 2003, has posted
management articles on LinkedIn, and provided leadership education to various
organizations’ employees. She likes the
outdoors and races in half marathons and spring triathlons.
