Welcome to the home page for the annual SEEDS Club Community Seed Swap. The purpose of this seed swap is to connect the students of IUP’s campus with the surrounding community through seeds and the stories that come with them. This is a great opportunity
for all to learn about the present community of Indiana, while learning about its history and simultaneously helping to shape its future.
Event Details:
- When: Saturday, October 28, 2017
- Where: HUB Ohio Room
- Time: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m. Guest speaker in the HUB Ohio Room
This year’s guest speaker is Cindy Rogers, who will give a presentation titled “Native Versus Invasive Plants, Are the Aliens Taking Over?”
- 2:30–3:00 p.m. Pumpkin painting.
This event is part of a larger project that will help to continue the Northern Appalachian Seed Bank.
No seeds are needed to participate! Open to all, please bring your family and friends. Kids’ activities, guest speaker, vendors, pumpkin painting, and more. No GMO or hybrid seeds, please.
