We’re excited to welcome you to IUP Academy of Culinary Arts —in person—to see for yourself what life is like on campus. To ensure the health and safety of the IUP's community and our visitors, we have put in place the following measures based on public health directives from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the CDC:
We require all visitors to register in advance of arriving on campus. To register for a campus tour, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are limiting all families to three total (3) members: the prospective student, and two (2) guests. We are not able to accommodate walk-in visitors currently due to space and social distancing guidelines.
We ask you to perform a COVID-19 symptom assessment before arriving on campus. Please refrain from visiting campus if you do not feel well or if you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19.
You and your guests are required to bring a face covering to wear when visiting campus. Face coverings should cover both your nose and mouth, including masks without an exhalation valve and face shields. Face coverings should always be worn, especially when physical distancing of six (6) feet or greater is not possible. Our public restrooms will be available for use. We strongly encourage abiding by public health guidelines, including washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and using hand sanitizer.Bottled water will be available when you check in. If you’re a coffee or tea drinker, plan on bringing your own to campus. And while we eagerly anticipate meeting you in person, our admission staff will not be shaking hands out of an abundance of caution—please don’t be offended.
On the day of your scheduled campus tour, please check- in at the Office of Culinary Admissions no more than 10 minutes prior to your visit time. Additional information on arriving to campus will be included in your confirmation and reminder emails.Tour groups will be limited to one (1) family per tour guide. For the safety of our campus community we are limiting the number of interior buildings that tour groups will enter. You will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor prior to your tour of campus so that we're sure to address any questions that you may have for us!While IUP is taking all precautions to safeguard our community, we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 exposure and infection on campus. Please be reminded that you are undertaking your visit at your own risk. If any visitor shows symptoms and tests positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of visiting campus, please report that information to University Police at 724.357.2141.
If you have any questions about your upcoming visit, email email@example.com or call 814.938.1159.
