Directions to the Fairman Centre

Admissions visit programs for the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts begin at the Fairman Centre in downtown Punxsutawney. Enter through the South Findley entrance under the red and white awnings at the rear of the building.

Enter 131 South Findley St., Punxsutawney, PA 15767 as your destination. The Culinary entrance is at the rear of the building at the corner of Mahoning and South Findley.

From the Northwest (Erie Area)

1. Take Interstate 79 South to Interstate 80 East.
2. Take Interstate 80 East to Exit 78 at Brookville.
3. Take Route 36 South to Punxsutawney.
4. At stop sign, go straight on West Mahoning Street for one mile.
5. At second traffic light, turn right on South Findley.
6. The Fairman Centre is on the corner of West Mahoning and South Findley.
7. School entrance is at the rear of the building under the awning.
   

From the Northeast (Scranton, Wilkes-Barre)

1. Take Interstate 80 West to Exit 101 to DuBois.
2. Take Route 255 South to Route 219 South.
3. Take Route 219 South to Route 119 South.
4. Take Route 119 South to Punxsutawney.
5. Turn right on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street).
6. At second traffic light, turn left on South Findley Street.
7. The Fairman Centre is on the corner of West Mahoning and South Findley.
8. School entrance is at the rear of the building under the awning.
   

From the Southwest (Pittsburgh via Route 119)

1. Take Route 22 East to Indiana Exit (one exit beyond Blairsville).
2. Take Route 119 North to Punxsutawney.
   
3. Turn right on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street).
4. At next traffic light, turn right onto South Findley Street.
5. The Fairman Centre is on the corner of West Mahoning and South Findley.
6. School entrance is at the rear of the building under the awning.
   

From the Southwest (Pittsburgh via Route 28)

1. Take Route 28 North to Route 85 East at Kittanning.
2. Take Route 85 East to Route 210 North at Plumville.
3. Take Route 210 North to Route 119 North to Punxsutawney.
   
4. Turn right on Route 36 North at traffic light (Mahoning Street).
5. At next traffic light, turn right onto South Findley Street.
6. The Fairman Centre is on the corner of West Mahoning and South Findley.
7. School entrance is at the rear of the buildingunder the awning.

From the Southeast (Harrisburg, Philadelphia)

1. PA Turnpike (Interstate 76) West to Bedford exit 146 (old exit 11).
2. Route 99/220 North to Altoona.
3. Route U.S. Route 22 West to Ebensburg.
4. Route 422 West to Route 119 North exit.
5. Route 119 North to Punxsutawney.
   
6. Turn right on Route 36 South (Mahoning Street) at traffic light.
7. At next traffic light, turn right onto South Findley Street.
8. The Fairman Centre is on the corner of West Mahoning and South Findley.

Parking

Park in the Fairman Centre lot (at the rear of the building in the spaces without reserved signs). Additional parking is available in metered spaces on the street and in the adjacent municipal lot (25 per two hours of parking).
