COUNT ON YOUR PROFESSORS: Accounting classes here average fewer than 30 students, and all are taught by professors, not by graduate students.
IUP: A Great Fit “Along with meeting students, the faculty in Eberly are amazing. They are always more than helpful and take time to listen to your problems or issues. Eberly also tends to have smaller class sizes, which is really nice because the professors know you by name and you do not feel like just a number.” Robert Kanick, BS Accounting, MBA

The Accounting Department professors have either doctorates or master’s degrees with professional certification.
Most of our faculty bring years of experience working outside of academia, and many continue to provide consulting services to outside organizations and companies.
They all share one major commitment: teaching their students. This is their top priority. Unlike at larger universities, all accounting classes at IUP are taught by our professors, not graduate students.
As an accounting major, you will work with an advisor from the Accounting Department.
