Minors

Add a minor to your bachelor's degree to expand your skills and gain a competitive edge. A minor can help you specialize or diversify. Expand on the field in your main degree. Or pick a different field for more career options. Either way, you bring your future into sharper focus with a minor.

Steps For Declaring a Minor:

  1. The student completes an academic minor application (typically available from the academic department that houses the minor).
  2. The academic department reviews the application.
  3. Once the department approves the application, the department forwards the application to the Registrar's Office to note the minor on the student's transcript record.
