The annual Celebration of Learning at IUP Punxsutawney, held December 12, 2011, featured projects by students in writing, literature, world religions, and information technology courses in Fall semester. 

The IUP Writing Center curated a series of writing workshops for students in the Department of Food and Nutrition. 

Drs. Dawn Fels and Jennifer Wells, graduates of IUP’s doctoral program in Composition and TESOL, recently published The Successful High School Writing Center: Building the Best Program with Your Students.

IUP Writing Center director Dr. Ben Rafoth and three Writing Center tutors visited West Virginia University on November 12, 2011, for a special colloquium focused on the theme of creating writing center learning cultures.

Students who are taking online classes, who are off-campus, or who cannot visit the Writing Center can now get assistance with their writing assignments from IUP’s Online Writing Center.

The IUP Writing Center will reopen for Spring 2011 on the first day of class, January 18.
