The third annual Sex and Gender Conference will take place Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Hadley Union Building.
It offers a full day of interdisciplinary panels, films, workshops, and presentations by students and faculty members.
Presenting the keynote address, “Is Sex More Like Dancing or Digestion? Unpacking the Dangers and Complexities of the Medicalization of Sexuality,” will be Leonore Tiefer, Ph.D., psychiatry professor, therapist, and activist.
The event will also feature 16 concurrent sessions and three films.
This conference is open to the community. No registration fee is required. Attendance vouchers are available.
