Courses are open to both current IUP students and non-IUP students.

Registration
Current IUP Students
Students already enrolled at IUP should use URSA to register. Registration begins Wednesday, October 17, 2012, for undergraduates and Monday, October 29, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. for graduates.
- Course numbers for undergraduates are numbered 100–499.
- Online course sections begin with an “8,” for example, 801, 802, 803.
- Writing-intensive online courses include a “W” in the section number, for example, 8W1, 8W2.
- An alternate PIN is not required to register for Winter or Summer Session courses.
Non-IUP Students

Tuition and fee information can be obtained from the Bursar’s Office (724-357-2207).
Current IUP Students
Students may be eligible for additional financial aid to assist with Winter Session costs if they enroll in the subsequent Spring semester at IUP. For more information, please contact the Financial Aid office (724-357-2218).
Non-IUP Students
Non-IUP students are not eligible for state or federal financial aid at IUP. Some private/alternative loans may be utilized to assist with paying for your distance education course(s). For more information, please contact the Financial Aid office (724-357-2218).
Tutors are available to assist students on writing projects. Instructions for students including on how to schedule an appointment can be found on the Writing Center's website.
Transfer Grade/Credit for PASSHE Students
Students who are currently enrolled at another Pennsylvania State System university may obtain a Visiting Student Form from their university. Complete this form and submit it to the Office of Adult and Continuing Education, Suite 117 Sutton Hall, 1011 South Drive, Indiana, PA 15705.
