IUP is known for its high-quality, affordable education. But don’t take our word for it.
Such praise has come from many respected sources:
Honors College
Some of our highest achieving students are enrolled in the Robert E. Cook Honors College, which was was featured in Donald Asher’s Cool Colleges: For the Hyper-Intelligent, Self-Directed, Late Blooming, and Just Plain Different. Our Cook Honors College students have been recipients of prestigious awards including Fulbright and Goldwater scholarships, National Science Foundation fellowships, Phi Kappa Phi awards, and more. See a list of national awards received by Cook Honors College students.
Business School
Our Eberly College of Business and Information Technology is recognized in the Princeton Review’s “Best Business Schools” guide and the Princeton Review’s “Student Opinion Honors for Business Schools.”
Its bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in Business Administration are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International. Fewer than one-third of the business schools in the United States and a limited number of schools internationally have this accreditation.
Contributions to Society
IUP also makes significant contributions beyond the academic realm. IUP was selected for Washington Monthly magazine’s national rankings of schools based on contributions to society and the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. It was also included in G.I. Jobs magazine’s list of “Military Friendly Schools.”
