Veterans and service members are required to complete one or more of the following forms in order to receive VA education benefits.

We highly encourage the online submisssion of the initial application for VA education benefits using the VONAPP system. Submission of an online VONAPP application takes the place of the submission of paper VA 22-1990 or VA 22-5490 forms and is recommended because this version requires significantly less processing time, so students receive their benefits much more quickly.
