Shay Meets with State Legislators to Discuss Veterans

On April 5, 2017, Cory Shay, director of IUP’s Military and Veterans Resource Center, met informally with a dozen Pennsylvania legislators at the State Capital in Harrisburg and discussed how the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education supports veterans and military-affiliated students.

The Military and Veterans Resource Center will soon receive its 4,000th student visitor. As an appreciation of thanks, the MVRC is offering a gift pack to the 4,000th military/affiliated student who stops by to utilize the center.

Shay Named Co-chair of VA Butler MyVA Community Board

Cory Shay is director of the Military and Veterans Resource Center. MyVA communities are a collaborative network of veterans, advocates, resources, and other stakeholders who organize through community boards to improve outcomes and services for veterans.

Summer and Fall Certifications for Veterans
