Tom Creighton '70Tom Creighton serves the 37th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Rep. Creighton earned his undergraduate degree from Juniata College in 1967 and went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Physics/Mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1970. His professional career includes positions as plant engineer/manager for Kellogg’s; research analyst for the National Bureau of Standards, Fire Engineering; research scientist for Armstrong World Industries; college instructor at IUP; and science teacher in the Altoona School District. He also served as a Rapho Township supervisor and a computer network consultant.

A fourth-term lawmaker, Rep. Creighton formed the Chickies Watershed Alliance with the goal of preserving stream ecology and water quality in the region. He serves on several state House committees, including Judiciary, State Government, and Commerce.

Rep. Creighton and his wife, Sandy, reside in Rapho Township in Lancaster County. They have three children and two grandchildren.
