Currently serving as the state representative in the 60th Legislative District.
Rep. Pyle earned a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University in 1986. He later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from IUP in 1991.
Soon after earning his IUP degree, he taught American History, Government, and Sociology in the Armstrong School District and was awarded the Educator of the Year in the Armstrong School District and Conservation Educator of the Year in the Armstrong Conservation District. During that time, he also served as the mayor of Ford City. He was elected to the State House in November 2004.
He currently serves on the Environmental Resources and Energy committee and is the chairman of the Subcommittee on Mining. He is also a member of the Game and Fisheries, Liquor Control, and Transportation committees.
Rep. Pyle and his wife reside in Ford City with their two daughters.
