I’ve been working on the Dividing Ridge site all year, and Dr. Bev just recently brought on Jason and Anthony.
We were having a hard time figuring out how to do the processing in the beginning, but, since we now understand the data, Jason and I are presenting our research at the Society for American Archaeology annual conference in Atlanta. Dr. Bev talked us into it. She said it would be a good way to get some more knowledge and get our names out there.
Besides the people presenting research, there are people from archaeological firms, preservation societies, publishing companies, and a lot of people promoting their publications and services. So it’s a real networking opportunity.
