What You'll Become
The Eberly College of Business and Information Technology honors program prepares you to begin a career in business or to begin graduate studies. Job opportunities can be found in both the public and private sectors. The services sector, including health care, information technology, finance, and transportation, is expected to offer more business job growth potential than will manufacturing.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, administrative services managers and transportation managers are expected to see average employment growth from 2006 to 2016. Jobs for medical and health services managers, however, are expected to grow 16 percent from 2006 to 2016—faster than the average—according to the report.
