Class lectureNot every student is fresh out of high school and ready to take on a full load of classes. In fact, you may already have full-time responsibilities at work, at home, or both. Fortunately, the IUP School of Continuing Education is here to help.

Formed in 1966, the school aims to serve the lifelong educational needs of nontraditional students, working adults, professional organizations, local and state agencies, and other residents, using the academic and human resources of IUP. Degrees at the associate and bachelor’s levels, as well as certificate programs, are available.

So whether you’re interested in part-time study, evening classes, distance (on-line) courses, or personal-enrichment programs, the School of Continuing Education is the perfect place to begin or continue your education.

The school also manages IUP’s conference planning services; IUP at Monroeville, a state-of-the-art classroom and training facility; the Keystone Occupational Safety and Health Center, an OSHA training institute; and the Center for Career and Technical Personnel Preparation.
