$3,000 Punxsutawney Area College Trust Scholarship
Official SAT scores are requried for this scholarship. Awards of $3,000 will be given to five outstanding applicants. Qualifications include:
- Academic excellence
- Superb interpersonal communication skills
- Intense desire to advance professionally in the field of culinary arts
- Employment, educational, or volunteer experiences in the food service industry
The Punxsutawney Area College Trust Scholarship recognizes the well-rounded individual who is able to meet challenges head on. Recipients are goal oriented, career minded, and focused on personal and professional success, beginning with their education at the academy.
Scholarships are awarded based on information from the scholarship application form (including essay), information from the culinary admission application, current high school transcript, and SAT scores. Favorable consideration is given to applicants who ultimately want to pursue a B.S. degree in Hospitality Management or Food and Nutrition.
$1,000 High Achievers Scholarship
Awards of $1,000 will be given to five outstanding applicants. Qualifications include:
- High level of academic achievement and potential
- Commitment to the culinary industry
- Participation in school, community, or professional activities or associations
Scholarships will be given to students who have been able to blend academic dedication with career-minded employment and/or professional or school organization involvement.
Scholarships are awarded based on information from the scholarship application form (including essay), information from the culinary admission application, current high school transcript, and SAT scores. Special consideration will be given to applicants who have chosen to devote their time and effort to educationally valuable experiences gained outside of the classroom.
Industry-Sponsored Scholarships for IUP Culinary Students
$1,500 ARAMARK Scholarship
ARAMARK, a leading provider of food and support services to colleges, universities, and preparatory schools, is sponsoring a $1,500 scholarship to recognize an individual who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the culinary industry. Qualifications include:
- Past or current work experience in the culinary field
- Commitment to a culinary career
- Recommendation from employer or culinary teacher
The recipient of this scholarship will be focused on career advancement in the culinary field. Particular attention will be given to applicants who have worked in the food service industry, hold memberships in industry-related clubs or organizations, have participated in special functions and/or events (such as a culinary competition), or provided volunteer services in a food-related capacity.

$1,500 Nemacolin Woodlands Resort Scholarship

- Past or current work experience in the culinary field

Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida, one of America’s most exclusive club communities, is sponsoring a $1,500 scholarship to recognize an individual who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the culinary industry. Qualifications include:
- Past or current work experience in the culinary field
- Commitment to a culinary career
- Recommendation from employer or culinary teacher

IUP Academy of Culinary Arts sponsors a $4,500 scholarship awarded to a C-CAP competitor. Scholarship winner will be determined based on the results of CCAP Culinary Arts Competition.
