Instructional Costs*
- $7,232 per semester
- No Charge for externship semester
Fees
- Activity Fee: $249 per semester
- Technology Fee: $103 per semester (Pennsylvania residents); $155 per semester (Non-Pennsylvania resident)
- Supply Package, Culinary Arts: $1,500, one-time charge for first-year students (This fee covers knife kit, uniforms and shoes, and textbooks.)
- Supply Package, Baking and Pastry Arts: $500, one-time charge for second-year baking students (This fee covers baking uniforms, baking supplies, and textbooks.)
- Transportation Fee: $175, optional (This optional service provides transportation between the Living Learning Center and the Fairman Centre/Academy kitchens.)
- No Charge for parking; students may elect to bring a car to campus.
*Costs listed are for Culinary and/or Baking semesters. Once these semesters are completed, students opting to continue on for the B.S. degree will pay undergraduate tuition and fees found on the Bursar’s page.
Housing
On-Campus Housing
Space is available for sixty first-year culinary students. We offer new, suite-style living with the following options:
IUP Punxsutawney Living Center
- Two bedroom, four beds, two bathrooms $2,512 per semester; $1,898 summer
- Four bedroom, four beds, two bathrooms $3,191 per semester; $2,410 summer
Fairman Living Center
- One bedroom, two beds, one bathroom $675 per month
On-Campus Housing Fee
Commons Fee*:
- $97 per student per semester, Fall and Spring; $72 per student per semester, Summer
*On-campus residential students only
Off-Campus Housing:
- Many rental options are available, including single rooms, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and more

- 19 meals a week + $150 flex dollars: $1,218 per semester (AF)
- 14 meals a week +$200 flex dollars: $1,209 per semester (BF)
- 14 meals per week: $1,009 per semester (B)
