Young Alumni Achievement Awards

The Young Alumni Achievement Awards recognize recent IUP graduates who are outstanding in their fields.

The Young Alumni Achievement Award was created to recognize recent IUP graduates identified as being outstanding in their fields and to present such alumni to current IUP students as examples of exceptional achievement. All recent graduates of IUP, less than fifteen years, who have recorded notable accomplishments in their chosen profession are eligible for this award. The Young Alumni Achievers are invited to hold seminars, presentations, and panel discussions on topics related to their professions.

The IUP Alumni Association and the IUP Ambassadors work in conjunction with the deans of IUP’s six undergraduate colleges to identify and select candidates for the award. See a list of our past winners.

Who’s Eligible?

Those who have graduated from IUP within the past fifteen years who have recorded notable accomplishments in their chosen professions are eligible. Each year, one outstanding alumnus or alumna from each undergraduate college of IUP is chosen to receive the award. To nominate an alumni, complete the Young Alumni Achievement Award form.

How Are Alumni Chosen?

Final selections are made by the deans. Winners of the Young Alumni Achievement Award teach current students about their professions by making presentations and holding panel discussions in the classrooms.
